A Unique Gift - Women's Watches

Let's be honest, we all need to indulge in some retail therapy...it's okay to treat yourself! My birthday is coming up and JORD Wood Watches sent me this beautiful rose-gold wood watch. It is the perfect early birthday gift. I always wanted to buy myself the perfect watch. A watch that wasn't blingy, but very subtle yet beautiful. A timepiece that represented me. When I received the watch, the graphic designer in me was so pleased with the packaging. Not only is the watch wood but the box it came in is wood also. I could not wait to open the box to get to my new watch! The top of the box which has JORD's symbol nicely carved on it, easily slides out and reveals the beautiful watch hugging a cute little pillow. Along with the watch is bubble wrap to keep it safe, and two cards that has JORD wood watches information on it and how to set the watch.
Now, if you're not an artist, you probably don't even care about the packaging and are thinking...alright already tell us about the watch!! Haha! Well I got the koa and rose gold wood watch, which is apart of their cora series, it costs $275. It was the hardest decision to ever make, because all their watches are absolutely beautiful! The Koa wood has a nice light coloring to it, especially when the sunshine hits it. I love how the face of the watch gives you a peak of the gears, which really makes the watch stand out. However, on the back of the watch you can see the whole heart of the jewelry. The watch has a sapphire crystal glass along with swarovski crystal markers. It is also a self-winding automatic(no battery needed) and splash-proof, which for me is a plus when you have a teething baby..haha!
